It is moisturizing (absorbs quickly, not greasy) but it has a baby powder smell that can be overwhelming. I am getting used to it though. Next time I think I'll try the lavender version.

No, this cleanser relies on fruit extracts and citric acid. The first ingredients is Apple Juice from which Malic Acid is produced. The citric Acid comes from lemon juice. What I am noticing so far is that it isn't drying but feels incredibly cleansing. I am using the Murad in the morning and the Juice at night. Thanks for the question!
