This amplifier is using BD139 and BD140 into the driver position..also as second stage VAS....despite it is 80 volts maximum VCE...you should imagine the volts it is receiving under normal operation..the alternated (audio) voltage and the DC biasing steady voltage..... this one is holding enormous peaks..factory said it is 80 volts of VCE, minimum guarantee, super safe, ultra reliable voltage..but in the reality it can hold much more than that...good to use with 55 Volts?... not always..depending the case.

It is beeing used in the Dx Blame ES and Dx Blame ST..but supply voltage there is plus and minus 35V and maximum acceptable is plus 10 percent
