  • I personally never have liked it on my Pinkey. I feel I don't have as much control, but there is no wrong way to play any insturment, as long as it sounds good. =]

  • Lots of guys do. Much better once you get used to it. Allows you to have THREE fingers available for chording.

  • utoobia Not necessarily true though. I play with the slide on the ring and make chords with pinkie, ring and index which also gives me a better strech than playing with the slide on pinkie.

  • @bozzybone lmao

  • Eddie Van Halens cousin everybody!

  • @sendmeflowers Exactly.

  • advanced

  • @ShonoughIdo jack white can go twist in the wind...

  • Does anyone know what the different shapes he plays behind the slide are at 12th fret just after 2 min?

  • This is wonderful info... but gee GP couldn't you have brought a decent video camera? The sound is terrible and the picture's nothing special either.

  • @ChefStedman Honestly as much as I love Stevie and the man is a monster understand that I revere him but Jack White is probably a more innovative guitarist. SRV kinda always did the same thing whereas Jack White has evolved throughout his musical career and always had total control over the music he's playing which takes a true artist so you're definitely wrong about the White Stripes being the worst band in the history of music. In fact you simply making that statement makes you a twat

  • @utoobia - I always use a HEAVY brass slide on the pinky finger, easier to hit the top notes, easier to do damping and much better vibrato
