Ottawa City Councillor Peter Hume wants to see Tunney's Pasture transferred to the Canada Lands Company and real estate developers. (Canada Lands Company already owns the AECL land at Tunney's Pasture.) Alta Vista residents are still angry and dismayed by the Canada Lands Company controlled redevelopment of the NDMC land at Smyth Road in Ottawa. More than 3,000 Natural Resources Canada employees could lose their jobs, when Canada Lands demolishes the entire Booth Street Complex. Developers rule.

Whoopee for Ottawa, yet another public transit line focused in the same direction....amazing how much criticism the LRT plans got when they were going to head south of Ottawa, but hey, you wanna go in the same direction as the 'O' Train and every freaking bus, that's all good then, here's your money. Don't spend it all in one 'boondoggle'
