Rush on Fox and Friends: Obama vs. Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh appeared on Fox and Friends this morning to discuss President Barack Obama's recent comments. On his third day in office, President Obama told Republican congressional leaders that "You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done." Obama had invited them to the White House to discuss the $1.2 trillion stimulus package. The DNCC has also made an issue of Rush, putting out a web ad saying that Rush wants Obama to fail and asking supporters to sign an online petition and donate money.

Rush believes that Obama's move was calculated and is designed to separate the conservative base from the Republican leadership in Washington. Rush pointed out Saul Alinksy's Rule 13 of his Rules for Radicals:

"Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."

They discussed Rush Limbuagh's Bi-partisan Stimulus package, details of which are in today's Wall Street Journal:

rush suffers from everything. mouthiness. i am in sales, i have to size folks up fast. the quickest easy way to find out if you are dealing with a complete dumbass is ask the " do you listen to rush?" if they are dumber than a goddamn bag of hammers, they will usually say something like "Hell ya. att the time" so i do what pads my pocket. i jump straight into the POOL OF STUPID. I say dumb shit like. "Obama wasn't born in America. or "Obama is the anti-christ" ..then i raise the price by 20%
