  • Not meaning to declare any form of support for the Republicans, (Being a liberal Brit myself) but surely the Democrats abstaining is a shameful example of the kind of partisan politics that threatens to tear America apart? I think that as long as Democrats and Republicans continue to be petty and vindictive (It does work both ways) then no problems in America are going to get solved, and ultimately, the loudest people will triumph (Teabaggers). Just saying.

  • @jonboyjones2 I would disagree. By leaving the state, the democratic state senators are preventing radicals from taking away rights that have been given to unionized workers for 75 years. I think ideally you would be right, but realistically democracy cannot function properly without compromise and the republicans are refusing to to do so, leaving the democrats no option but to leave the state.

  • So basically there trying to promote slavery, I hope someone hits him on the head real hard and make him jump into a flaming billing, risk his life then tell him that he isn't getting anything for that.

I live in Saudi Arabia we don't have allot of freedom here tho at least we have our dignity, Something the republican governor is clearly trying to rip the American public off. I think It's time he steps down from his undeserving position as governor!

  • I some times ask my self if everything you say here is true.. Because I didn´t knew people could be so DUMB! How can they say such things out loud and spect people to agree... Keep the good work! I´m from Paraguay and I have nothing to do with EEUU but you explain politics so well I just had to subscribe

  • Teachers, police officers, firefighters.... they're the heart of the community and they're always the first to get kicked in the shins. I just don't understand it. I never will.

  • My great-grandfather worked in a steel mill in Joliet, IL before unions. He worked 12 hour days 6 days a week, subjected to severe dangers (extreme temperature/the splash of molten iron). Safety information was not provided for him in his native language. No consideration was taken for his injuries sustained from shrapnel and gas exposure in WW1 fighting for the U.S. In 1930 he was laid off without severance pay. The avarice and greed of the higher-ups made his life nasty, brutish, and short.

  • Threee groups are exempt from Walker's agenda. Local police, firefighters and state troopers. Why is that? Because they supported him. Why are not employees working in prisons not exempt? Oh, they didn't support him.

Walker does have an agenda that clearly doesn't include the average worker. It's all about politics to him. Nothing more. It's become a power grab for Walker.
