Another thing I love about PHiSH - 3 seconds into the transition form Circus-->Roses it's distinctly Roses Are Free. These guys can immediately produce the personality of a song. Each of them understands the subtle moves that are required. Thousands of aspiring jammer bands can give a danceable beat without ever having identifiable songs. Back in 1990 when I got my first tapes of this band I knew a dozen songs by memory in one day.
