Here Mike demonstrates one of the key exercises for a fully functional shoulder complex. Size, shape, flexibility and explosive power can all be achieved through this movement. Try 5 sets of 5 reps with a weight equal to 80% of your 1-rep max.

  • I like that you don't go for the full stretch to put the shoulder capsule under unnecessary strain. I think at the end of the video, or during, it would be great to explain 1. They weight you chose 2. The reps and why 3. Why your elbows don't float past your torso and 4. Why exploding up is so important Great quality!

  • this is a question for info and not to critique...but shouldn't you drop the weights a bit lower to get a more full range of motion? thanks.
