  • Welcome to the R7000-2 club. This sounds like one heck of a find. I have TWO of them. You should check, which you obviously have done since this was posted back in May, to see if this is in fact a 7000-2 -- label on the back. These often have defects or cosmetic damage, and hold their value nicely even in this economy. You should also check to assess whether the calibration on the shortwave bands is on or off, which is usually the case as components age. If you ever want to sell...

  • Nice. I love these TO's. Great radios. You have the last one Zenith made with the R7000 series. The first to use Intergrated Circuits also. Glad to see it in good shape. I have a D7000Y and a 3000 that I use on a daily basis.
