a sequel (prequel?) to the Gold/Silver/Crystal medley i did last month. this one has my attempt at a play-through video instead of just slowly moving stills, so it's probably a little more exciting to look at. it's also more well-put together, i think. includes: opening/main theme, pallet town, oak's theme, rival's theme, trainer battle, viridian forest, team rocket's hideout, surfing, route 4, and credits. all music written by junichi masuda and arranged by orbsonb (Ben Robson [the sexiest man on earth]).

guitar: Agile Septor 725 Elite
guitar amp: Randal RH200 head, some old cabinet
bass: Ibanez SR305
bass amp: Behringer BX1200
all other instruments: MIDI, written in guitar pro and fiddled with in garageband
mic: the shitty mic on the apple macbook cause i don't have a recording setup at my house
recorded with: Garageband
markers used for cue cards: Crayola Classic Colors (washable)

hey do you just use a microphone to record your instruments or so you plug them right into your computer? just wonder would love to be able to do shit like this thanks

@TruSlinger this was actually recorded using my macbook's built-in mic, which isn't such a good idea if you're looking for good quality.

more recently i've been using a line 6 Ux1 interface with POD Farm to get my guitar and bass sounds instead of using an amp and microphone. i recommend this if you're looking to record with lots of different amp sounds for a fairly cheap price. you can get pretty "real" sounding tones out of POD Farm

This is good. And you are a fantastic player, but you are playing in the wrong key. Or you are just using accidentals. Main theme is written in the key of Cm, no sharps and no flats, although there is a few A sharps. Fix it though, just a little critisizm.
