We're hard at work on our fourth movie, inland waters kayak fishing, featuring kayaks from Native Watercraft, Jimbo Meador, muskies by Chippewa Flowage waters, and guiding services from Hayward Fly Fishing Company. Filming onsite in early June in northern Wisconsin was fabulous. Great water, great boats and some great fish. Here is a taste of what we are working on. Check www.quietwaterfilms.com for more updates! We'll have this movie complete and available later this summer.

  • We spent two days with Hayward Fly Fishing Company in the Chippewa Flowage in northern Wisconsin. Great spot. First day morning was in the "Flowage" (aka lake), first day afternoon was on one of the Forks of the Chippewa River. The second day was on the other Fork of the Chippewa River. Can never remember which fork is which. Both were fabulous. Check our blog for a fly caught muskie (last November) that HFFC boated on the Chippewa River and released. HFFC is oar powered drift boats. Big fun.

  • who makes your kayak/canoe ?

    they seem very steady

  • Native Watercraft.

  • wow nice video...great balance skills standing and throwing 'flies from canoes... thanx for shareing

  • Glad you like it!

Standing up in these boats is much like riding a bike. At first it feels "different" but once you get the hang of it, just like riding a bike, it becomes second nature. Poling one of these boats is one of my favorite watery things to do now.
