FL studio has pretty much the same feature. I don't know how they compare, I've never used recycle.

I remeber when I was small, my dad played me a song which I´ll never forget, it was X-mas and he used to do surpises, I never played violin at all one day , he came out and he played a song "on the box", (but I never new it was a toy, I really thouth that he could play it)XD. After noticing that it wasn´t him playing I started to laught...I always had been wondering how people got that power to play it just once and stop the music whenever they wanted to XD You remind me of that toy :) thanks

it's also work in real time with the highest quality possible in the new Roland Fantom G series ^^ and it really awesome. but the reason version slice and sound very pro more than ableton product.
