This monstrous segmented waterfall on the Mekong River near the Cambodian border in the extreme southern part of Laos is the widest in the world, stretching to as much as 14 kilometers wide during the monsoon season!

  • I was here here in April for Laos NY celebrations. It's a sight worth travelling out to see. It is located 1.5hrs travelling by a tuk tuk truck from the town of Pakse. A tour bus can be arrange to drop you off on the hwy but it is advised to take transport directly in. I actually saw a foreigner on a scooter who went there. There is food stalls at the location & tourists are catered for.
