I was here here in April for Laos NY celebrations. It's a sight worth travelling out to see. It is located 1.5hrs travelling by a tuk tuk truck from the town of Pakse. A tour bus can be arrange to drop you off on the hwy but it is advised to take transport directly in. I actually saw a foreigner on a scooter who went there. There is food stalls at the location & tourists are catered for.
