They say that the owner of Dixons dept.store controls all the planning for Whitehaven and he won't do bugger all.I must admit there's nowt much there any more.I hear that muslims wanted to makr thr church into a mosque.THAT CANNOT AND MUST NOT HAPPEN.

i am actually working on stripping this nightclub out before it gets demolished early this year!
Before we started it was in the condition it was left with glasses and ashtrays on tables!
It is actually quite sad to destroy the place where people wen to have fun! :(
It is gone but never forgotten!

Whitehaven is slang for trash hole lol. In the town centre decent places like the park, Woolworths, Board au naturale etc have all closed and left empty buildings and instead of something good what do they put by the library, a funeral parlour, a F****** funeral parlour. Whitehaven needs to die and be reincarnated again. Kerrie xxxx

Now an embarassing wreck at the bottom of Duke St which seems to be falling apart with that lousy DHSS office next door. I think Fusion in Workington cost it a lot of business.

Whitehaven will always be the best night out in cumbria! I 1st hit the park in 1997 i was 17 and it was mega! Into Pulse room danced my ass off then round to big brys Fry's for a burger sigh . . .great nights : )
