A Very Late Trash Day

2644 and 2666(devils truck) on an EXTREMLY rare occurance. I got home from school and not a single house had there trash picked up. So they called in trucks from other cities to help out. However truck 2666 has been here before, something about it was different... the driver. This is the first time I have EVER seen the driver of 2647 in a truck other than his own. And since this truck has operate in gear at idle (I show at the end of the video what that is) he cant Rev! well they can but its harder to do so he doesnt which is odd to see. And in the next video Ill have footage of the extremely fast 2623! AN OLDIE! Has the good sound, the high rev, accaisional lid flip and great and friendly operater!

I remember those Wednesdays where I'd come home after school and either the recycling or greens still hadn't been collected... always looked forward to the truck arriving =] What's the latest the truck's ever been around your area that you know of? I see you were filming in the rain during some clips, bloody annoying if you get drenched hey? lol Nice stuff! Also loved the elevated shots!

@MitchellM15 haha yea I got home today and a lot was still full. The greens was packed out and doing body lifts but I FORGOT TO CHARGE THE CAM! And with operate in gear at idle a little rev will make it go a bit faster but if you floor it, it stops to prevent breakin the lines by exeeding the pressure rating since the pump is faster. But if you put it in neutral you can rev it as you would any other truck so the drivers have the option. thanks for the kind words sir!

haha you knew that first truck would stop there! One of the BEST hopper shots I've seen from you, nice work there. Whoa I really like truck 2666, it's got the newer cutout in the grille (op-in-idle) and looks super nice, and it's also fast!! IF you could find where he normally services I'd love seeing more of him! DEFINITE fav!!!!!!

@Trashman242 yea he stops there every week because im his very last stop of the day. And if you think 2666 is fast, watch ny newer video of 2623 filling in. He is the coolest and best operater Ive seen in a long time. Then you can say fast :D

2666 usually works in yorba linda and in placentia. But its never on a consistant route so finding him is always pure luck. I rarely have the same 3 trucks come each week LOL

@3amrepmike3 Well consider yourself lucky to have variety like that--different trucks each week.

I started watching the vid of 2623, didn't get a chance to finish yet + comment, will do that soon. Definitely didn't think 2666 was the fastest one I've seen, just fast for op-in-idle/no revving is what I meant. If you do see him again I'd like to see film, there's more important stuff to go after though I know.

@Trashman242 Yea Ill try to find 2666 the next time i go out filming Republic. Which might be this following saturday because of the one day delay from the holiday :D He usually runs that general area. And trust me, your going to want to watch 2623 all the way through :D its got something never seen on YT before

@3amrepmike3 Nothing worse than a camera with an empty battery haha Yeh don't want to go bursting the lines, I've seen some nasties on the job lately (but we still push the boundaries lol) =]

Also with the operate-in-gear-at-idle feature, if you rev does it mean the lifter won't function? Doesn't seem to bad working the truck at idle with what I'm seeing, but still makes a difference with giving the engine that sudden advance each lift.

@FormerWMDriver he always stops there because im his very last stop of the day. I assume he reports thats hes done every week, and if he is needed as backup somewhere else, he goes there to help finnish up. If everyone is on schedule and he isnt needed for backup he will lock up and the day is done. Just works out that way. But it was cool how he made sure to directly line me up with the hopper. Hes a pretty cool guy.
