"They're all controlled by the corporations..." A poplar idea. While I don't like corporations either (because the government shields their principles from liability), it is the government that has the power over all of society (they have the guns, and will put people in jail if you don't do what they demand).
Corporations are no match for the gun of government. Gov prefers, though to take the bribes from corps. Again, all the gov has to do is say no. But everyone blames only the corporations.

Yes those bankers are bastards. What I find interesting is that the government hardly ever gets any blame. After all, it was the government who decided take from us and borrow from our kids to bail them out. All the government had to do was simply say no. That's it. That doesn't take much energy. Try it: "no". Not so hard is it?
The bankers asked the government for the money, the government give it to them and we all spew hatred at the bankers (deserved) while the government largely gets a pass

@jasonkellyshow- Sounds good Jason. Your website is already on my blogroll. I also have your beginner's book, Neateast Little Guide to Investing, on my top 10 recommended reading list article for beginner's to learn investing. Is your new book in audio book form? I would like to listen to it on audio book.
Jason, this is great! Agree 100% We have a corporate Fascist system here in the US where the government and big corporations don't have to play by the rules. Profits are privatized and losses are socialized.

@WallStForMainSt Thank you for the support. Anybody watching the "financial reform" get picked apart to the point of meaninglessness understands what we're up against. We all have to defend our money against these pillagers, and the sooner the better.

awesome, your points are solid. but I'd say the crisis is even more severe than you portray.
I think Peter Schiff portrays these matters with incredible insight and accuracy:
