SCOTTSBLUFF, Ne. - The search for 8-year-old Kerra Wilson has ended with the discovery of her body in a remote area of Sioux County...Based on the discovery of Kerra's body and the evidence at the scene, Salvador Carlos Lopez, 32, of Mitchell was arrested in the death of Kerra Wilson. At this time Lopez is being held in the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center on a charge of first-degree murder.

What I want to know is, Why did the school not contact the parents when they saw she was absent at the roll call? If parents do not call in saying their child is home sick for the day or has an appt, the school should be responsible to call the parents to find out if their child is home. By waiting till the end of the day, it is often to late. I would be very upset at the school if they did not contact me.

If Kerra did not enter the school why not try to ask the step father.. with a lie detector machine.. if he is telling the truth then he will be willing to go through it, just to prove that he has nothing to do with Kerra's disappearance...
