The mp3 and guitar tab for this song are available from http://jongomm.com/store

You can Pay What You Want for the mp3, and a percentage of all proceeds go to The Happy House children's home in Watamu, Kenya. http://www.childrenofwatamu.net/

This song is about I plant a grew in my 10-feet-square backyard in the Leeds inner city. I put the seeds in a tiny tub, but it grew like a Roald Dahl story until it took over the whole yard, then one day the sun shone extra hard and 100 flowers all went "Pop!". It was amazing, so I wrote a song for it.

If you have any questions about the song, or the guitar playing just ask!

The video was made at The Northern Film School by the wonderful person that is Danielle Millea and her awesome colleague Owen Plummer http://www.northernfilmschool.co.uk/

...to some degree. I prefer to eliminate the one factor people can't control and focus on the ones we can. Take a trip at concept at dot org and look for a thread started by a guy named mintcandyman along the lines of "begining journey of a complete rookie". It won't take long at all, and perhaps you'll be surprised.

We do have roughly the same perception of things in a physical sense, if you believe science, wich you can ignore and it's fine. I had this discussion elsewhere, this time on regards of artistic talent on plastic arts and presented this point. I do acknowledge the existence of talent. But it amounts for such a little part of wether you can succed at something or not, that it is more of a perk rather than a determining factor of ones performance and creativity on any given subject. So we agree.

    - the vision to create (music, art) is not one given to all. Sure, any piece of music could be reduced to its elemental "rules" and learned by a technically trained person. But this same person cannot CREATE a similarly advanced piece of music - this vision and ability is where talent is manifested. It is skillful to copy, but talent to create. I replied to you because I am tired of a view that says all individuals are as adept as the other - such a notion is pleasant but decidedly unrealistic.

A little late here, but just a final word. I understand what you are trying to say - that no one should give up on themselves (trying to do something) because they are told they aren't talented enough - which I agree with. However, the realist in me makes me acknowledge that not all individuals are born with the same capabilities, and will never achieve some things, no matter their effort. You say we live in a world with "roughly the same perception of things" - I'd have to disagree with this...

Born in your tiny prison cell A million times smaller than anyone One single drop and you’ve risen up Unafraid of the dark… Ooooh… (x7) Ooooh… (x7) Whoa… You crack up through the pavement In super, super slow motion Though your back is gently breaking, You reach for the light… Oooh… (x7) Oooh… (x7) Oooh-ooh-oh! We can’t see everything And we can’t hear everything WE can’t see everything We can’t hea-ear! …everything!
