  • I wonder what the average IQ is for someone who frequently watches The Office? I bet its higher than most other shows. Not that that really matters. Well It kind of does.

  • @Krowsnose Not cool bro..

  • $6 Dwight haircuts. lmao

  • @MattsMisc I doubt there's that much of a difference. The fact is The Office is just a newish form of comedy that really caught on. People are sick and tired of traditional TV sitcoms with laughtracks and one-liner jokes. Seinfeld was so popular because it was a new kind of comedy when it came out. At least new to the general public.

However this doesn't explain why shows like 2 and a half men are still popular. :\

  • @MattsMisc That's such an Oscar thing to say.

  • @MattsMisc Its not that hard to understand, most of the show revolves around Michael being stupid, I dont think it takes a smart person to understand what's going on. Just because someone watches the show a lot doesn't necessarily mean they're smarter than people who watch other shows.

  • Dwight, you ignorant slut!

  • @MattsMisc That's what I like to believe as well. The only people I know who are really into the show are at the same time the smartest people I know. It's quite a clever show indeed.

  • @PurushaDesa You read my mind when you said baltimore. The wire was the first show that came to mind when I started reading your post.

  • @MattsMisc Its a fantastic show, but honestly its comedy doesnt require that much intelligence. I feel like that's more curb your enthusiasm or arrested development's territory.

  • I want to shake that man's hand.
