  • @luckyfrank777 He tapped out due to the hold. Guess he didn't feel he had the strength or energy to escape. Don't think it was a submission to a choke or armlock simply because there was no urgency to the tap.

  • The first third of this contest (1.5 minutes) was wasted with squabbling over grips. Gripping is important, but when a minute and a half of the fight goes by without a single meaningful attack, the referee should step in and either warn or penalise the competitors.

  • I was lucky to have trained at Jimmy's school in Mass. He is a quality person a blessing to his students, it was a great experience.
