Every single version I have seen of Sweeney Todd brings something new to the table. I don;t think one is worse than the other...rather they are just different interpretaions. And I have thoughrouly enjoyed each one...

Although I am not particularly fond of the minimal sets & actors as orchestra in this version of Sweeney, it is the new style...They did the same for Sondheim's Company...And I have a friend who managed to nab parts in both, due to her being able to play an instrument in addition to sing & act. So I guess for some, there are definite advantages to this new style of theater. (I'm sure it saves the producers tons of money, too.)

Nothing I like better than watching someone's tv play the video I'm watching here. You obviously figured out to transfer the video from the video camera, yet you couldn't figure out how just pull the video from the tv signal...
