Incredibly creepy short documentary about a life-size doll found in the Morgan-Monroe State Forest. Growning up around here, "the forestry" (as we called it) had quite a sinister reputation, and the evil goings-on suggested by the story told in this video give a good deal of support to that reputation.

looks like a manequin or crash dummy of some kind that got wound up in some juvenile japes. Maybe the people you saw had seen this dummy earlier and reported it as a dead body. They probly thought you shot the guy, with you showing your rifle an all!
