Operation was formed by Emil-Vocals, Johan-Guitar, Martin-Bass and DM-Drums in late 1995. In March 1996 we entered Studio Miklaton to record "Civil Olydnad" which was released in August -96 in 550 copies. In the fall of -96 first Peter-Vocals and later Eja-Vocals joined the band. In January -97 we once again entered Studio Miklaton and recorded the first half of "Frihet?" and the second recording was done in Studio Mixton in March. "Frihet?" was released in August -97 in 500 copies by ourselves. Peter left the band in late -97. During the whole time we did gigs in Sweden. In early 1998 we got in contact with Skuld Releases who wanted to re-press "Frihet?" (the first print was sold out in half a year). The repress was released in June, at the same time we did our first gig abroad (Turku/Finland). In July we did 5 gigs in the U.K. together with Re-Sisters, Oi Polloi a.o. In Sept/Oct -98 we did a European Tour together with Detestation and Cress. In January 1999 Operation split up due to some personal problems resulting in a cancelled gig at Ungdomshuset/Copenhagen. "Destruktiv Utveckling" came out in the summer of 1999.
After Operation had splitup Eja, Martin played in Protestera and Johan and D.M. in Svart Aggression. Today Johan, Martin, Peter and D.M. plays in Silent Nation.
