Que bueno, que grande, Malagueño tenía que ser, arte puro, maestro de maestros, grande muy grande, te queremos Angel. :) :) :)

@gigibeklee Should he bore the audience instead? So long as he's impressing you with the "proper" style, that's probably okay, huh? Do you need to be reminded that Mr. Romero is long past the stage of having to prove his virtuosity or fidelity to anyone? He's not a schoolboy anymore competing for prizes. Here, he's simply having fun with one of the shorter pieces in the repertory. I never heard it played like this before, and I thought it was wonderful.

@drj06tabing 100% unequivocally AGREED!

Angel is simply the best! Compare this performance with any other solos done by other guitarists including John Williams, Segovia, Russell and even Pepe Romero. Angel is unmatched with regards to tonal quality, technique, expression and general musicianship.

Sanz is renacentist not baroque :p anyway I like it
-
music allways sounds like musician, different musician different story of notes so different music
-
for a baroque piece, way too romantically interpreted. seems like he wants to impress the audience, not to preserve the core of Sanz's music. impressive, but not in style
This is an outstanding performance...simply breathtaking
