My dad was a christian and was diagnosed with cancer a couple of years back and he WAS afraid of dying. He was praying to God that he would live and guess how praying worked out for him... He fucking died. 56 years old. and he was a very good man. Why would God let him die? He wouldn't. IF HE WAS REAL! The reason he died was because the cancer was spreading and the doctors couldn't stop it. Praying dosen't help. it dosen't help talking to youself. It only keeps your hopes up.

@javonne Spot on. Also, when a loved one dies they go all depressed like everyone else, which shows weakness in their so called faith. If you are 100% sure that god and heaven exists, then why don't you feel genuine happiness for their death? Why, if your son dies for example, don't you throw a party shouting in happiness that he is in eternal heaven now and is having the time of his life? Its all BS.
