The pastor of a Dallas mega-church has begun his challenge to married couples. He wants them to have sex every day for a week. Rev. Ed Young says it will strengthen their marriages. (Nov. 16)
@TheBarby82 your absolutly right. I'm a christian and I believe Sex is only supposed to only be for the married. That's all he's saying. What do people want him to say behind the pulpit? That every human being comes from the sky in a blanket carried by a stork and sex is from the devil? Sorry that's not the case at all.
Young parades and emphasizes a sacred act of physical intimacy as it is not meant to be. If the passion of the flesh is what holds a marriage together rather than God, and if in being set apart to God you feel it necessary to emphasize this to the secular world, then your bond is weak and your basis is broken.
I'm curious, how his sermons have anything to do with Christ crucified, sin, repentance, salvation, Holiness, a relationship with God; in other words what does this sermon have to do with biblical worship to God?
This of course is a rhetorical question, this video has nothing to do with how we are to worship our God. """Remember""" the Sabbath to keep it holy, it is the hardest command it seems. People bring any other conversation up, BUT that of God's worship on his holy day.
I agree with some of what you say about we look like the world but to say this pastor needs to repent and we need to pray he will is a little self righteous huh. Not every sermon is only about the cross, is that how Jesus taught. Grant it it is the most important thing but in a world where 40% of Christians polled struggle with pornography this Pastor is trying to get couples to commit to a healthy sexual relationship to keep them from sin (lust). I don't see that as bad.
Exactly Blueberry40 sex is awesome and God gives guidelines for it....that's all this pastor is saying!!
