My Great Grandfather was in the Wehrmachts Heer, a good man and a loyal man.

He told me one thing repeadetly when he was still alive. "I did not fight for a piece of dirt and I did not fight for a leader. I fought for my People, for my family and most importantly for Germany! And I would do so again."

Always carried that message with me, he was a noble and good person and I certainly see him as one of my prime role models.

Germans should be proud of Rommel. He never made war crime. I wish I would see Rommel and Manstein. These guys did not lose their humanity even though they were in even Nazi high command.

My great grandfather was also in the Wehrmachts, unfortunately he went missing in action. What people to not understand, is that they were all not all Nazis, and racist. Most of them were normal Men who answered the call of their country. My grandmother lost her mother to Tuberculosis in a Russian camp at the beginning of the war as they were colonials living in Bavaria or some ex USSR state. She made her escape to Switzerland where she found shelter.

Mein freund a lot of people say: german=nazi,but this is a big mistake Nazismus is a political ideology,i am roumanian,but my grandfather was german and in my life i meet german persons and they leave me a good impression,i don't like Merkel and she's recih (european union),but i always respect Germany for culture,for inventators,for landscapes,for the quality of german people.Grüße Deutschland!
