Can somebody tell me, how much is duration of one new moon phase? For example, in 16.01 was third quater- whether the impact of this phase will last until the new moon?

Why the fucking stupid annoying narration is omnipresent in present documentaries? Is it because we're more stupid now and need child like introduction to keep our attention? "We always wonder the phases of the moon!" oh great, is that one of many reason why we look for this thing in the first place? Well, Im sure that was an inappropriate comment. I think the moon, as a part of Earth, is quite interesting. I find myself thinking about it, and its phases and when it turns orange. I am a teenager not interested in studies what so ever, but still find it to be extrordinary.
