Google Latitude privacy tips

the government already knows your every move u dumbo...
this just uses the cell tower information - any mobile company can spot u anywhere u are!

when will u ppl understand that it doesnt use gps?

in phones that have a GPS unit (such as the G1 or almost any modern mid to high end Nokia) then Google Latitude will use GPS to get a lock on your current position, otherwise it will resort to using Cell Tower triangulation

it doesn't work on my sprint samsung instinct phone. o.o

They call it 'Google LATITUDE' now, and suggest you can choose your friends, but y'all just KNOW that parents and bosses will effectively RENAME it 'LASSITUDE', as in insulting kids with BIG WORDS and inferring 'LAZY' and "SHIFTLESS".
They'll hunt you down via GPS and if you're within a country mile of 'downloadable' chore , you'll 'look good for it'.
