The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, or THON, is the world's largest student-led effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer. The Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital is the sole beneficiary of these fundraising efforts, and has received more than $78 million from THON since 1977. These funds support innovative and sustainable research while providing family support "For The Kids".

THON culminates each February with a 46-hour dance marathon that the pediatric cancer patients and their families attend - being cheered on by over 15,000 student volunteers who do not sit or sleep, so that these children can escape the horrors of their battles.

my high school does THON but a lesser version, our's lasts 15 hours and it's absolutely amazing! I plan on going to Penn State for college and if I do I will definitely be participating in THON :) FTK!
