@disneyfan85 For the meet and greets too and if technology improves, they'll be little vioce boxes that will be installed in the characters' articulated heads and when they talk into them, their vioces come out. See, people are always trying to find new ways to make characters come to life and interact with people and make them more realistic. Examples are Turtle Talk with Crush and the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club.

I wish all Disney parks used this interesting technique of making the characters talk. Mind you, it would just be for the shows, of course, and not when the characters are doing meet-n-greets.
