definitely! when i got hired at a job last summer, my interviewer told me afterward i had excellent eye contact. :) eye contact WORKS!

Whenever I can't maintain eye contact, I stare at their nose or forehead. Is that good? I asked around and some says that it's offensive.

@annaqtjoey02 - that's fine and it is an acceptable technique for those who feel uncomfortable with looking into someone else's eyes. As long as you are not in very close proximity (i.e. under 3 feet away), the person will not be aware that you are not looking them in the eyes. However, culturally (depending on your country and culture), you need to be careful about staring vs. maintaining frequent contact (i.e. be willing to look away occasionally, don't actually stare).
