@unforgivin01 Well, we don't really know what baby snakes (or any snakes) are thinking.... but you might be right. We do know that juveniles tend to have more toxic venom than adults. Remember that even if they do give as much as they can, there is still not as much quantity as an adult would have, since the snakes are so much smaller.

@zaheercy Yes and they are actually more dangerous because the babies don't know how much venom they need to inject to kill something so they use it all instead of just the right amount
-
@zaheercy Yes they are.

hi ,i am curious abt baby snake,are they venomious?

wow the adult copper head is a awsome looking snake, great markings an colours
how can there be infertal eggs when copperheads give live birth i think is viviparity or ovoviparity one of those two

@PaulDavisify Remember all vertebrates come from eggs! Even you and I, lol-- just not the way we are used to thinking about it. One way to think of snakes that give 'live birth' is that they hold the eggs inside until they are ready to hatch, then they lay them-- each baby comes out of its own sac, which is the egg membrane. So, an infertile egg is quite possible and in fact common.

What kind of mothers are snakes? Also this question should be over on the KY venomous snake video, but are all snakes with that triangular-shaped head venomous, and is that part of the "pit viper" name? Thanks in advance.

@TheArkyrebel Vipers and pit vipers can actually be decent mothers- they stay with the babies at least until they shed for the first time. The triangle head thing can be misleading as non-venomous snakes can also appear to have triangular heads.
