  • Dave loved this track. I wanted to remove it because I thought it sounded too much like a crappy Leftfield knockoff. I reworked it a bit and left it in, and named it after Dave's old cracker handle (Martial Artist).

  • This song was named after the programmer who developed the music system for the game.

    Dave Pridie R.I.P. 1971-2001

Some background can be found by googling: dave pridie martist

The music was all composed by Neil Voss using a program for the PC called "Fast Tracker 2"

  • @TiberiousNeruda ofcourse! all game file music graphic are made on a computer then published to a rom. all though it would be intresing to hear this in its raw state.

  • This was really done with modules?

Is it possible for him to make the files available for download? I would love to be able to hear them as they were originally composed.

  • I'm 16 again with my Adderall up all night...I FINALLY BEAT THE CRYSTAL TOWER!!!

  • @alinear well im sure glad he left it cause its the best song in the game if you ask me!

  • FT2 was okay...I hated the .xm format though, still better than Screamtracker 3 (.s3m), but Impulse Tracker was the best ^_^ (.it)

  • @orthomongz

I don't get your story. This guy named David Pridie Martist was the ORIGINAL composer or something? Is this his track? Did Neil Voss replace him when he died? Why would a programmer make the music? I'm confused.

By the way it SICKENS me how good this music is. Neil Voss was a god on the two Tetris games.

  • @D4rkL3610N so agree with you

  • I love this game and GUESS WHAT, when this came out, SO DID A BUNCH OF TOYS TOO! They were puzzle toyz, basically just the tetrisphere, and you had to move the blocks around to remove them out of the ball.

Now i can't find the toys i once loved in my childhood in my house, or possibly NOWHERE. This makes me sad. :(

  • @alinear You worked on Tetrisphere's soundtrack?

  • i loved this game and the puzzle mode i didn't care if i was stuck on a puzzle i would just let this track loop over and over
