My Jandy AE2500 118,000 btu heat/cool heat pump cooling my 7,000 gallon above ground pool in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 3rd, 2008 with 111 degree air and 5% humidity.
118K BTUs divided by 12,000 gives the 'ton' rating ... so 9.8 tons !!??!
Huge but in such a tiny chassis and quietish too!?! Looks like the size of a 5 ton max ... how can the condenser (inside the heatpump) coils be large enough to create a good enough temperature difference for high efficiency lol?
