@ZhaoDrek scoring in Kendo isn't only about touching the target.

-
i was wondering what kind of event was this? 7dan champ or 8dan champ?
-
2:35 Mind = Blown.

By the way, the chudan kendoka in the last match was Hironori Yamada, who was the champion of AJKC in 1973, just for your information.
-
First one: Isao Ogawa (white) vs. Masashi Chiba (red)
Second one: Kazuo Negishi (white) vs. Tadao Toda (red)
Three of them have been the first place of All-Japan Kendo Championships.
Ogawa-sensei, once (1977)
Chiba-sensei, three times (1966, 69, and 72)
Toda-sensei, twice (1962 and 64)
Anyway, thank you for uploading! :)

Fourth type of kamae - tachi in a left hand, left foot forward. This is master kamae. Your kotes in a usual position and your opponent thinks that he can hit it esealy, but becouse this you has more abilites to manipulate of your opponent mind. Also, much more wadza can be used in this kamae. Shinai much more lighter, than a katana, Toda sensei strong enough to control it even for a tsuka gasira grip. Sorry my bad english. :)
