@HoneycombAgent My bad. I didn't catch that you were using USB drives. There are automatic backup protocols that save your files in both locations, though.

@HoneycombAgent At the same time? Not likely! Use RAID1 if you're doing important things.

did you get the data off it? I have heard you can record the data from the outside in with new heads to get your image (however they will crash when they go over the scratch)

Always back up your data. Good advice, but, WHAT IF THE BACKUP DRIVE FAILS?
