The new techniques they have with LRA's would absolutely shock most people who talk smack about Mustangs. Yes, in the past it's been nothing to speak of, but I'm telling you, it's a different story now. It's getting to the point where LRA's are creeping up on and even sometimes passing IRS's at the skid pad. Until you drive a new LRA done right, keep your judgements on reserve, because every person that I've seen drive a new proper LRA has been blown away.

The Mustang was never a fast car round a track, the new one is actually slower than most sporty family cars round a somewhat tight circuit

Which was manufacture points over the course of a full race season.
And to be able to comment you have to understand how the points system worked.
Thats why racoonpoon had a valid arguement and you dont.

it hangs better G on the skidpad then both the camaro and the challenger (based on numbers published in road and track)
and besides, they're all modified for the track, (obviously)

I've driven a couple of these cars, dont talk shit until you know what you're talking about. No doubt there is more modern suspension in nearly EVERY car on the market, but that doesnt mean these are anything near slow or unable to turn.
