Virtumonde Removal Long but Effective.

VIRTUMONDE IS NOT HARD TO REMOVE. Do not panic if you have it. =)
Virtumonde is actually very easy to remove, but may take over an hour. You do not want to keep it on your computer.
Look at the rest of this info on how to kill it.

Before I start thought, use Spybot Search and Destroy, SUPERAntiSpyware, AVG, and CCleaner all the time. They are like Gods but together! AVG is rated the highest for web threats, SUPERAntiSpyware of course finds rogue spywares/antivirus's, and Spybot Search and Destroy is very good for detecting malware. Malware can be viruses, worms, trojans, browser hijacks, etc.
CCleaner will also make your computer faster.

Now.. You want it gone don't you? Lets get started.

Safe mode WITHOUT networking is needed to kill virtumonde and those really bad things because they are connected to the internet. When you delete it, the web code in the virus will rebuild itself back into your computer. When your not connected to the network it cannot do that and will just blow away into nothing.

How to active SAFE MODE!
Safe mode can be activated by clicking Start, then run. Type in msconfig and click on OK.
Go to BOOT.INI and check off the /SAFEBOOT.

Basically, You need to download SUPERAntiSpyware, AVG Free, CCleaner, and Spybot Search and Destroy.

You restart your computer in safe mode WITHOUT Networking. You can either do this by mashing f8 when you restart, or doing the way above all this. Now run scans with all of the antivirus and cleaners from below. Delete anything they find. (CCleaner isnt a scanner, use it at the end to clean up all files).

After your done, and deleted Virtumonde, Run CCleaner. Then restart your computer in normal mode. Run the scans one more time to confirm.

Theres both a site and download link. If you cannot go to the site because of whatever virus is not allowing you, then use the download links.

AVG is a resource hog which bogged my pc down. My experience was negative. If you want to remove it, it's a bitch. I had to download an AVG removal tool. I emphatically recommend against AVG!

To confirm you've removed it, start up (Generic web browser here) and if there are no incredibly annoying popups going up, then you've deleted it.

My problem with spybot is that it runs out of memory in the middle of detecting the virus it is. I've PARTIALLY delete it, and it hasn't seemed to rebuild itself. I got a .DLL error saying that one of the files in the virus wasn't able to be started due to it being missing, so all's well! :)
