Early rehearsal footage of the Backbeat band singing Good Golly Miss Molly, along with some clips of trip to hairdressers to banish blonde hair and introduce the infamous quiffs and moptops.

In Feb-Mar 2010, The Citizens Theatre and Karl Sydow present the world premiere of a stage version of Backbeat, one of the UKs best-loved cult films. Re-imagined for the stage by original writer and director of the 1994 film, Iain Softley.

Filmed by Peter Emina.
Publicity Photo by Nobby Clark.
Vintage Portrait Re-creation by Knifedge.
