Your guest is a propagandist. Nothing has been hijacked. Those opposition movements were always an expression of popular discontent and only now has the population dared to express their anger en masse. The fact that bureaucrats or nomenclature were always in charge never changed and is nothing new.

Communism never allowed what's been dominating it's highest offices since it's inception in Russia? Interesting.
Russia is the same as the US, the only difference is that the US oligarchs are more subtle and discreet about their corruption. But same thing anyway.
