Boy, I sure remember the kitchen cabinet fire. I never thought I would see it again. My dad was one of the firemen responding. The smoke was so bad they had to close down the LIRR. It was really cold and when the fire was out there was ice everywhere. They had some job getting the hoses and trucks out of there as everything was frozen to the ground. Thanks for sharing this!
