One of the things I love most about Brandi Carlile is the respect that she shows other musicians. From things like this, to the clear homages she includes in her music to the greats of the past who inspire her, to the way she bows to her fellow musicians onstage when performing live, Brandi shows a humility that is refreshing and just good for the soul. Helplessly Hoping was the first song I ever learned to play, taught by my father. Brandi is the rare new musician I can share with him. Amazing.

ALL versions of helplessly hoping tablature have been forcefully removed from tab sites so that the amateur has lesser resources to learn and play this great song. SHAME to the label, and to the artists who let this happen.
