Acer Aspire One REVIEW

Bullshit - the people at Best Buy are idiots. This netbook is built for web browsing and light duty work like e-mail and word processing. The only thing you might consider is the keyboard size depending on how much typing you'll be doing. The Aspire's keyboard is good, but for full-time typing, look into a 10 inch netbook.

you need a usb optical drive that you can get for about $60 in order to use disks like spyware and cds and dvds

you can't get windows 7 on that notebook it doesnt support it. it would make your computer run really slow if you successfully installed it.

i just recieved one from amazon for my birthday thats in about a month. thanks for saying the pros AND cons :) b/c rele no other video addressed the cons. but i got mine running windows xp. so is xp really a better choice than linux? im kind of new to this computer thing, but did i make the right choice?

Windows and linux truly are different. The windows version has larger storage capabilities with a mechanical hard drive. Linux has flash based memory and runs much faster. I feel Windows is the best choice simply because it is much more widely used
