@ejherreid hiya! yes, this is on the 77's lp "ping pong over the abyss. great album! the cd is probably available from either cdbaby.com or amazon... also , that will be the original version of the song from mike roe, the original singer of the 77's. he was a GREAT singer /songwriter... also, check out the self titled first cd from the 77's had some great tunes on there as well! god bless!~Bill

Thanks for the info. Buddy Green does a version of this that's on youtube with a bluegrass flavor that's pretty good to, but this onei s the best 'imo'.

I like the blues but not denomination blues except for this Denomination Blues. Roe and Company get it. BTW, what happened to the last note of the song?
