I think that the new songs are incredible! This one is a incredible song that has so much feeling behind it. I guess a true fan would see that. This one brings a tear to my eye everytime I hear it. I hit 15 shows this year and I have to say that they havent played with this much energy since 05. Ended the tour at 38 shows total at the Hollywood Bowl.

I think the new stuff is great. i know it may lack some lyrical things, but i really enjoy the new stuff. i still love the old stuff too, but i think ppl need to understand that they're not gonna sound like they did before. no band or group ever does. they always change, and im still a HUGE DMB fan...

i agree that the writing lacked the depth when batson came around and into play, but now dave is moving on a bit. corn bread is one of the new songs and you probably love the rhythm pattern of the vocals (partial lyric credit going to batson). a dream so real is much intricate with its lyrics and maybe if you would take this bias out of your ass you could listen to the song with more educated ears and realize the intimacy of the lyrics

i'm glad you are such a fan but i feel like a real fan would know how much the boys have changed over the years. do you not like the song because you are still living with before these crowded streets jammed into your head?

I can't believe someone didn't say it sooner. I too am a huge fan. For credibility sake, I live in NYC and already saw him twice in CT and Indiana this summer, and will see my 18th show in Cali soon. This song is mediocre at best and a horrible choice for an opener. Actually, I have no clue what he's doing with all his new songs this tour, and I don't understand why people aren't giving him crap for it.Wake up folks, us true fans deserve better.His song writing lately is extremely disappointing.
