Before the start of semester 2, we're doing a couple of introductory sessions on Arduino micro controllers. Luckily, I've had some previous experience using Arduino, therefore I've decided to help fellow student Max Johnson realise his idea of a call & response robot. I've got some more ideas to come too.
I haven't had much time to put into this over the past week (I've probably spent an hour on it) it's just the barebones of the idea for now.
the timing sounds spot on. Do you think it could handle separate bass and snare noises, or even a high-hat/hissing kind of sound? Cool name by the way "physical echo".

@mooxim I could try and filter out the frequencies for different sounds and then make them control different motors, it would probably need to be adjusted for different users though.
I quite like the idea that we might be able to hook up multiple bots that feed off each other, maybe allowing for a kind of ripple/wave effect if we lined a few up. We'll see what we can come up with next week.
