My friend, you seem determined to see Shankar- Jaikishen put back at the absolute top of my favorite MDs. Well, considering this latest gift from you, I am almost tempted to ask the others to move over. I can't tell you how much this song means to me. I would merrily sing this song to myself as a teenager even when studying for my exams. The song has a gloom-dispelling ,sunny sweetness that became a hallmark of the S-J- Lata collaboration. Such several fast numbers they(S-J) created for Lata and changed her slow singing image! I could get entire songsof Nayaghar 25 years ago from an LP released along with Patita by Musicindia or HMV.The shop owner Kokila Music Centre at Vizag also didn't know that the LP was with him.The LP was titled as-"Everlasting Melodies of Shanker Jaikishen".All songs are melodious, mostly by Lata but some by Talat also! --Dr.G.RamNarayan,a singer of V.Sitaramaiah's musiano at Hyderabad/Vizag
