  • i pulled a 1978 cuyuna 440 motor out of my olympique, the previous owner said its not origional and might have been in a scorpion whip, were they from the scorpion and are they worth alot?

  • @IamGrizzly89

ILO engines were imported into the states under the Cuyuna name until Rockwell bought the company. These are very reliable engines but they are very difficult to reseal properly if rebuilt.

  • @terrancelueckgen its a 2 stroke u dont rev it n its gonna load up n not run right because u foul the plugs

  • Are the Cuyona engines the newer versions of the Jlo engines?

The BigFoot Snowmobile got an Cuyona 430 engine at 45hp and an L/C version at the same cc but at 55-60hp or so?

Are the engines reliable? Or just some junk made of an old garbege can [you do know what I mean...]

  • Are the Cuyuna motors easy to mod? I have a 76 massey ferguson whirlwind 440, im currently restoring it, every nut and bolt. I want to mod the shit out of the motor, and get a set of AAEN pipes.

  • @terrancelueckgen

Gotta get the shit out somehow.

  • why are ppl so fixated on reving the shit out of everything they own

  • how much hp does this have?

  • yea i found the tag with the serial number once i pulled the engine out and it was a 400 twin or 399cc cuyuna, good engine, they all have the tick in the topend though i thought i had a bad rod bearing or wristpin bearing at first, i guess its just like a pw series yamaha minibike the 50's and 80's all have the tick too same with the yamaha blasters.

  • i just bought the same engine and it said rockwell 399cc
