The webcam motion detection projects seen in the video:
1. Window Wiper - Uses detected motion to erase a foreground image.
2. Touch Cube - Measures motion and guesses the intention of the user to either spin or zoom in on the cube.
3. Touch Globe - Same as TouchCube except the cube is replaced by a globe and stars are added to the background. (I wish the Google Earth or Virtual Earth team would make a version like this. I'm interested to see how they would tackle this problem, or if this type of interface is even adaptable to geospatial software.)
4. Ping Pong - Measures movement and moves the ping pong paddle accordingly.
5. Soccer Juggle - Physical objects interacting with virtual objects (in this case a virtual soccer ball) via motion.
6. Sixty Four - Pixel conversion of a webcam feed into one of sixty-four ASCII characters depending on pixel value.

@maudz you can search online for sample code (they pretty much cover the general implementation) if you are looking to develop your own application.

This really interesting ..... What kind of sensor did u use to detect motion?? I am trying to program a SW like this but I dont know just how to detect the motion??
